Requirements
High school diploma 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a factory setting The ability to safely drive a forklift
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Verify records for incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipping. Verify information such as counts, weight, and measurements against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Assemble containers for shipping. Route items to departments and unpack/examine shipments. Lift and move items (weighing up to 50 pounds) to assigned locations.
Additional Responsibilities
Label packed cartons.
