About Us:

Champro® is a privately-owned sporting goods and apparel manufacturer that has been in business for 30+ years. We deliver high-value, traditional & innovative athletic equipment and apparel via outstanding, integrity-driven customer service. Our business philosophy is focused on our customers and we take pride in providing them with the best overall values in team sports products. We are dedicated to our vision of being the essential brand for team players. Headquartered in Bannockburn, IL, we believe in operational excellence and that "Our Team Builds Yours." Position:

CHAMPRO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to serve as the vital link between our business operations and technical solutions. Working within the Project Management Office (PMO), you will focus on eliciting, documenting, and optimizing the processes that drive our company forward. We are looking for a process-driven professional who can navigate our business ecosystem—from website order entry and custom-built applications to ERP logic and distribution workflows. You will spend your time "under the hood" of our business, ensuring that our systems are aligned with our core requirements and that our team has a clear roadmap for how data and work flow through the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Process Evaluation & Business Optimization: Serve as a process-agnostic expert capable of reviewing any business unit's workflow. Analyze current-state operations to identify inefficiencies and design future state processes that improve speed and scalability. Help the organization identify and maintain a library of core business requirements to ensure processes support long-term needs.

Requirement Elicitation & Documentation: Lead the effort to extract clear requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into high-quality documentation, including functional specifications and user stories to define the "who, what, and why" of a requirement, ensuring technical teams and business users are perfectly aligned.

Tech Stack & ERP Integration: Gain a deep functional understanding of our tech stack, including what each tool is used for and how they link together. This includes mapping requirements into a major ERP, documenting unique logic within custom-built applications, and ensuring seamless data flow from front-end sales to back-end fulfillment.

Collaboration-Driven: This role requires a proactive partner who can navigate complex organizational dynamics by identifying key influencers and stakeholders. This role will be responsible for facilitating high-energy discovery workshops that align diverse teams around a shared vision while effectively prioritizing competing requirements. Ultimately, this role must act as the project's driving force, maintaining consistent progress by proactively removing blockers and ensuring every stakeholder remains engaged and accountable.

Visual Process Architecture: Use process diagraming tools to create professional process maps and flowcharts. Simplify cross-functional sequences into clear visual guides that provide direction for both leadership and technical implementation teams.

PMO Process Development: Support the growth and maturity of the Project Management Office by establishing standard operating processes that support business functions. This includes defining how requirements are gathered, how projects are scoped, and how business value is maintained and measured across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.

Analytical Agility: A proven ability to learn new, unique business models and custom-built software quickly. Comfortable moving between sales-focused requirements and operational/distribution needs.

Software Proficiency: Strong functional experience with a major ERP (NetSuite is highly desired). Project & Design: Proficiency in Wrike and Lucidchart (or equivalent work management / diagraming tools).

Collaboration: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Operational Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Sales Process—including lead generation and order entry—and how these functions drive manufacturing schedules, inventory management, and warehouse fulfillment.

Communication: Superior verbal and written skills. Ability to lead stakeholders through a process walkthrough and produce concise, professional documentation that provides clear direction.

Hybrid Requirement: Ability to be on-site at our Bannockburn headquarters three days per week to engage directly with departmental leads.

Company Culture:

We are proud to offer eligible associates a full-range of benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, 401K, Profit Sharing, paid time off, holidays, and reimbursement toward gym membership fees. A collaborative atmosphere working together to exceed our customers’ expectations, as well as, an Equal Opportunity Employer bringing together diverse individuals to develop new and innovative solutions
