The forklift operator will be responsible for off‑loading and relocating products and materials to designated areas as efficiently and timely as possible. Safety is the top priority; the role requires constant awareness of the work environment, adherence to OSHA regulations, and company policies. The operator will sort, organize, conduct preventive maintenance, log maintenance records, follow forklift safety protocols, and report any mishaps or product variance immediately to management. They will maintain and account for materials (cargo, gaylords, pallets, bins, etc.) on hand, oversee staged areas, and manage deliveries. The operator must communicate daily and collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals. Job Description / Responsibilities
Maneuver forklifts safely in busy industrial environments Safely stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport Unload deliveries and relocate goods to designated storage areas Ensure forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions Regularly check forklift equipment for faults or damages Use industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport Keep up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods Qualifications / Requirements
At least 1 year forklift experience in a manufacturing setting Preferred experience with sit‑down or stand‑up forklift industrial trucks in warehouses, storage yards, construction sites, or other manufacturing sites Experience moving materials of various loads—large, small, or cumbersome items—to pallets and safely transferring to designated areas as instructed by supervisor Familiarity with continuous improvement processes, 5S/lean manufacturing concepts, shift change/task handoff, OSHA safety protocols, GMPs, and PPEs Conditions of Employment
Must pass background check, drug test, and I‑9 verification Must be able to work outside of regular work schedule as required Must attend and pass company forklift safety training program Culture and Benefits
