We are seeking a
Senior Operations Coordinator
to join our team. This is a site‑based position at a mining site in
Lovelock, NV
to support field staff working rotational schedules.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operations support to the manager of a large technical operating unit.
Act as an extension of the manager’s authority in administrative matters and compile, analyze, and present operational data.
Develop preliminary budgets, track projects and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure budgets and goals are met.
Serve as liaison between the manager and clients, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective information flow.
Respond to inquiries and requests for information or approval and direct to appropriate staff as required.
Coordinate operations within the organization unit to maintain consistency with policies and procedures.
Assist the manager with initiation and processing of personnel actions.
Analyze project control reports and profit planning monitors, ensuring expenses are accurately charted and advising on corrections.
Develop charts and graphs based on financial reports for meetings, monthly reports, or presentations.
Assist in the development of presentations to clients and prospective clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
Alternatively, fifteen years of experience in progressively responsible administrative work without a degree.
Strong knowledge of business administration practices and principles, including finance and accounting.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Knowledge of the consulting engineering industry is helpful.
Ability to process paper and electronic documents and operate a computer keyboard, retrieve and file folders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work harmoniously with people at all levels.
