R25095787**Summary****Job Description:****Registered Nurse (ENDO)**Part Time I First ShiftSurgical Service I Lexington, KYBaptist Health Lexington Surgical Services Department encompasses several key areas: the Pre-Op Department, 20 operating rooms with a business office staff responsible for scheduling, a Postoperative Care Unit, an Endoscopy Department with dedicated pre- and post-op areas, and a Sterile Processing Department.**Description Registered Nurse (ENDO):*** Assessment of patients’ needs.* Development of patient care plans* Provision of direct care.* Management of patient care delivery.* Demonstrate leadership skills.* Support for quality care.* Customer relations and healing environment.* On call requirement weekends/holidays picked by rotation.* Operating Room Nurses provide care and support to patients before, during and after surgery.* Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking and creativity.* Must possess ability to supervise and delegate appropriate work to Patient Care Techs, Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Secretaries, and Students.**Requirements** **Registered Nurse (ENDO):*** Weekly schedule Mondays 0800-1530, Thursdays 0800-1330, and Fridays 1200-1530.* Current RN licensure and work permit in Kentucky.* Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.* Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
