FORD SENIOR MASTER TECHNICIAN

WE ARE CURRENTLY PAYING UP TO $75.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF PERFORMING THIS POSITION: Oversee operations in an auto service unit to ensure compliance with quality standards. Contact clients and convince them to bring vehicles to their unit for repairs. Oversee the inspection of automobiles to identify faulty components and facilitate the repair process. Supervise automotive service technicians to ensure efficient performance and timely repairs. Conduct price negotiations with clients to reach a favorable agreement for both management and clients. Oversee hiring and training of an effective auto service team. Maintain accurate records of all accounts and financial information. Monitor inventory to ensure the availability of required vehicle parts. Ensure automotive service staff comply with environmental laws and regulations. Oversee procurement of vehicle parts, automotive equipment, and other items required in the auto service department. Evaluate staff performance to acknowledge efficient employees and guide underperformers. Address client complaints and resolve challenges. Oversee disposal of wastes such as used engine oil and soot to ensure health and safety compliance. Assign and schedule work duties according to staff skills. Follow up with customers to obtain feedback and ensure satisfaction. Attend workshops and study relevant publications to stay updated with industry developments. QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong communication and customer service orientation: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical issues in plain language. Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills: Ability to quickly identify problems using manual skills and diagnostic tools. Dexterous and energetic: Skilled in using complex tools and capable of physical tasks like sitting, standing, bending, and squatting. Educated and certified: Training and recognized certifications like ASE are preferred; a high school diploma is minimum qualification. Innovative and quick learner: Able to adapt to new techniques and technologies rapidly.
