Job Title: Product Tester – Mobile Apps (Volunteer)

Position Summary:
As a Product Tester, you’ll play a key role in the final stages of mobile app development by thoroughly testing features, identifying bugs, offering user-experience feedback, and helping ensure our apps meet high quality standards before release. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy technology, apps, and exploring new features before they go live.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct end-to-end testing of mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)
Log bugs, usability issues, and glitches using project management tools (e.g., Trello, Notion, GitHub Issues)
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to replicate issues and provide feedback
Participate in structured test cases as well as exploratory testing
Provide feedback on UI/UX, flow, and accessibility
Help test updates, new features, and performance across various devices or OS versions
Occasionally assist in user testing surveys or feedback collection from other testers
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using iOS and/or Android smartphones and mobile apps daily
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Basic understanding of QA concepts or app functionality (formal QA experience not required)
Ability to clearly describe issues with steps to reproduce
Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Trello, Notion, or TestFlight is a plus
Bonus If You Have:
Experience in mobile testing, UX research, or QA testing
Experience using beta versions of apps or early-access testing platforms
An eye for intuitive design and usability
