Position Summary This position will provide operational support of facilities, activities, and resources for simulation, clinical skills and other entities utilizing the center. This includes providing technical and hands‑on support for simulation session preparation and delivery in Human and Clinical Simulation.

Required Education Associate's degree or equivalent in General Education, Business, Science, Healthcare, Education, or related field. (Will consider three years related education/experience)
Required Experience 1 year, including experience providing instruction, training, education, direct patient care and/or experience in a simulation environment. (Will consider 3 years related education/experience)

Superior organizational, planning, communication and customer service skills
Ability to synthesize and use critical thinking to problem solve
Be willing to take part in the evolution of a new field of practice and contribute to the development of a new “high-profile” entity.
Multi-tasking and ability to maintain high level of customer service especially in high pressure situations.
Possesses the strong ability to interact with various professionals (i.e. physicians, nurses, military, faculty, research scientists, etc.)
Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Must possess the ability to work autonomously, when required, be creative and organized and function under tight timelines using high level of critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
Commitment to working in a professional, collaborative, and diverse team environment.
Preferred Education Health Sciences or related degree (i.e. Nursing, EMS, etc.). (Will consider six years related education/experience)
Preferred Experience
Background (2 years) in previous simulation or training environment
Support role in simulation lab or comparable training facility position.
Experience in designing, developing, and supporting training activities, preferable in health science education or higher education setting.
Experience as a standardized patient
Preferred License No
Preferred Computer Applications Microsoft Excel
Preferred Other Computer Applications Simulation software (i.e. CAE, Gaumard, Laerdal, etc)
Preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge and application of instructional design principles, learning theory, online learning strategies, and technology integration.
Demonstrated experience in using sound instructional design principles when interacting with faculty and staff to ensure effective skills training delivery.
