First responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility. Responsible for the safe de-escalation of critical events and the use of sound judgment in the engagement with combative or escalating subjects.Qualifications:**MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:**High School Diploma or GED**MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**Two years of experience in general security, military or other public safety experience preferred**MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:**Valid Drivers license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500**ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:**Certified Healthcare Security Officer (IAHSS) required within one year of hire.Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification preferredCarry non-lethal weapons such as a Taser CEW and/or a baton requiredMust pass pre-employment psychological screeningMust pass and maintain all training requirements to maintain employment to include certifications in Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and others as directed.Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Henry Hospital**Location**Stockbridge, Georgia**Type**Public Safety #J-18808-Ljbffr
