Position Overview ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a credentialed Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher for a full-time, on-site assignment in Burbank, CA through the end of the school year. This role supports young learners with special needs in an inclusive, developmentally appropriate school setting.
The ECSE Teacher will provide individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals, collaborate with school teams and families, and support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide special education instruction to early childhood students in alignment with IEP goals
Implement developmentally appropriate, play-based, and structured learning activities
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress reporting
Support inclusive practices and positive behavior strategies in the classroom
Communicate regularly with families and school staff
Required Qualifications
Valid California Early Childhood Special Education credential (ECSE)
Experience working with preschool and early elementary students with special needs
Strong understanding of early childhood development and special education best practices
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in school-based ECSE or Special Day Class settings
Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance in California schools
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
