Nesco Resource is seeking a Mold Tech for our long-term client in Leonard. Shift time is 3:00 PM- 11:30 PM.

The Mold Associate II is responsible for all activities related to the setup, operation, and teardown of injection molding equipment. This role ensures molding processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality, production, and environmental standards. The Mold Associate II works closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to support plant goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform setup, changeover, and teardown of injection mold tooling and equipment in accordance with job books and the PC&L molding press schedule.

Verify accuracy, completion, and posting of all job‑related documentation, including startup process verification logs, per established work instructions.

Monitor and maintain material flow and process parameters for assigned injection presses.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment through 6S practices and TPM activities at established frequencies.

Support Molding Quality Operators as needed, ensuring proper first‑ and last‑shot approvals are completed.

Assist with production reporting and documentation as required.

Communicate process concerns or abnormalities to Quality and Engineering teams in a timely manner.

Support process containment, monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts, including participation in Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness in alignment with Leonard HSE/EMS policies.

Perform all job duties in accordance with the Quality Policy, plant goals, and quality objectives.

Complete additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Education and Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Forklift, powered industrial truck, and overhead crane certification required.

1–3 years of prior experience as a Mold Technician or Process Technician.

Intermediate computer proficiency.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Flexibility to work overtime as required (typically 40–50 hours per week).
