Quality Control Manager The Quality Control Manager leads all inspection, verification, and product conformance activities within an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment. This role oversees daily quality control operations, drives customer and supplier quality performance, and develops a strong, high-performing quality control team.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
Develop and maintain inspection plans, test methods, and calibration systems
Supervise and develop quality control supervisors, engineers, technicians, and inspectors
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering drawings, and regulatory standards
Oversee First Article Inspections and measurement system accuracy
Lead customer and supplier quality activities and issue resolution
Oversee special processes including paint, weld, and gasketing
Support NPI deliverables including inspection criteria and PPAP elements
Lead quality control audits and manage corrective actions to closure
Analyze quality data to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Drive continuous improvement using structured problem-solving and statistical tools
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of quality control or similar leadership experience
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100, inspection methods, drawings, and metrology
Proficiency with SPC, gaging, calibration systems, and quality software
Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred
Experience in machining, metalworking, or assembly environments preferred
