Overview
A.S.E. Global Bridges (ASE) is a New York based non‑profit known for fostering a bilateral dialogue through Arts, Sports, and Education between people of the US, Europe, and Eurasia. ASE’s initiatives promote a dialogue of mutual understanding, respect, and shared values, and are recognized by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs, American Councils for International Education, and many others.
Responsibilities The Program Assistants will work as a team of 3-4 and will be responsible for supporting and overseeing the dancers, as well as runningsome extracurricular/non-dance activities youth activities.
This position is well-suited for candidates with strong academic or career interests in: performing arts, arts administration, youth education, global languages/cultures (especially Eurasian), and sports medicine.
Requirements
Commitment for the full 4-week or 6-week period in a resident status. Housing (single A/C room within dormitory with dancers and other staff) & meals are provided
Must be 18 years or older at start of the program
Experience with overseeing youth (ages 9-15yrs)
Option A: 5-week PA

– Virtual Orientation* 6/29-30, In‑person 7/1‑8/8
BENEFITS:
$3,250 – $3,750 for the period (wages/bonuses/travel**), housing & meals, 5 days off
7/15-8/8
– Virtual Orientation* 6/29-30, In‑person 7/15‑8/8
BENEFITS:
$2,250 – $2,750 for the period (wages/bonuses/travel**), housing & meals, 3 days off
*Some asynchronous trainings will be required prior to start; 6/29 & 6/30 will be mandatory remote training.
**Travel allowance for out‑of‑state candidates. Free shuttle from/to NYC.
