Do you have housekeeping or hospitality experience? Green House hotel, a private hotel in Ft Myers, has a great opportunity for a Lobby/Housekeeping Attendant. In this position you will be delivering exceptional guest services to our guests, assisting with laundry and common area cleaning as well as conducting quality inspections of hotel rooms between guests.
This will require evening and weekend hours.
What you’ll do
Provide friendly and welcoming reception during guests’ arrival
Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner
Clean and maintain all common areas per established standards.
Assist with laundry as needed.
Assist in dining area during meal periods
Conduct inspections of rooms for cleanliness and condition of furnishings between guests
Other duties as assigned
What you have
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Genuine desire to help others
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to interact patiently, tactfully, and diplomatically with internal and external guests
Ability to use technology (e.g., computer, tablets, iPads)
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to squat and bend.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Corrected vision to normal range.
Ability to work long hours as required.
Mental Demands
Make sound judgments quickly.
Work on multiple tasks, making appropriate progress toward deadlines.
Able to work independently, take direction, and provide direction to others.
Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively in stressful, high‑pressure situations.
Ability to effectively handle challenges in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
