R-090037**Job Title**Project Manager II - Logistics**Agency**Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service**Department**Infrastructure Training and Safety Institute**Proposed Minimum Salary**$6,381.11 monthly**Job Location**Bryan, Texas**Job Type**Staff**Job Description****Project Manager II - Logistics****$6,381.11 per month****1 Full-Time Position****Bryan, Texas****The Role at a Glance**The Texas A&M Public Works Response Team (TX-PWRT) Project Manager II - Logistics makes a difference by providing logistical support and technical assistance for the program during daily operations, and with the deployment of resources when activated by the Texas Division of Emergency Management State Operations Center (SOC) by interfacing regularly with SOC operations staff and collaborating with public works agencies (federal, state, and local) to provide public works solutions to local public works incidents. Functions include purchasing, fleet and equipment maintenance, shipping, inventory control, contracting, vendor coordination, event coordination, staff training, and supervision. Serves as a TX-PWRT SOC Liaison, DDEOC Agency Representative or TDEM IMT Liaison during state deployments and assists with performing cost analysis as needed to ensure the TX-PWRT is within specified funding parameters.The Project Manager II - Logistics reports to the Program Director/Operations Chief of the TX-PWRT.**Qualifications of the Role*** Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.* Five years of related logistics, finance, or project management experience.* Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.*Equivalency: Will consider an Associate’s degree with seven years of related logistics, finance, or project management experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with nine years of related logistics, finance, or project management experience.*The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is an internationally recognized leader in emergency response training, workforce training, and technical assistance.
