Associate Pastor
In response to God's call and under the supervision of the Senior Pastor, the Associate Pastor will provide spiritual guidance and support to the church, its members, staff, and the community at large. This role will assist in carrying out the church's mission by enriching our community and transforming the world through God's love. The Associate Pastor will support pastoral duties (preaching and pastoral care) as needed while helping to grow our thriving, inclusive, and diverse congregation. The leadership of youth and young adult ministries, as well as community outreach, are also included.
Pastoral Responsibilities
Provide spiritual guidance and support to members of the church and community
Assist in areas as needed in support of the Senior Pastor
Attend and participate in church activities throughout the week, including evening activities to the extent possible
Children, Youth, and Young Adult Ministry Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive Children, Youth, and Young Adult programs, including weekly meetings, the leadership of Young Adult Bible Studies, retreats, mission trips, and service projects that embody passionate worship, agape love, and bold witness
Mentor and disciple all children, youth, and young adults
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the church's Safe Sanctuary Policy
Supervise, develop nursery workers' and volunteers' schedules and delegate volunteer responsibilities
Community Outreach Responsibilities
Develop and execute outreach programs to schools and other organizations outside of the church, engaging the broader community with compassionate acts
Create and maintain relationships with other local churches and Christian groups to facilitate children, youth, and young adult family engagement
Lead the outreach to unchurched youth, children, and young adults in our community as part of our mission to transform the world through God's love
Associate Pastor Requirements and Qualifications
MDIV degree in theology, ministry, or BA in a related field; and 3 years of ministry experience and theological training
A passion for helping young people grow in their faith
Strong social media skills, an online presence, coupled with an outgoing, positive personality
Able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
Pay rate
$40,000-$50,000 salary depends on qualifications and experience. Full-time for the position. May consider Part-time.

Pastor of Worship The Pastor of Worship will lead and cultivate a Christ-centered worship ministry in a unified expression of praise. This position exists to develop, coordinate, and guide the church’s music and worship ministries while equipping teams and individuals to serve in worship with excellence and authenticity.
Key Responsibilities Worship Ministry Leadership:
Provide vision and direction for the church’s overall worship ministry, including Sunday services, seasonal events, and special occasions. Direct and support all vocalists, instrumentalists, tech/media teams, and volunteers involved in worship and music. Oversee children and student music involvement and coordinate worship-related discipleship opportunities.
Identify, recruit, train, and mentor musicians and worship volunteers to grow their spiritual and musical gifts.
Empower and release lay leaders for service while promoting a team-based ministry culture.
Foster community and care within the worship ministry through regular communication, encouragement, and support.
Planning & Coordination:
Collaborate closely with the Senior Pastor and ministry staff to plan meaningful, gospel-centered worship services that complement sermon themes and the church calendar.
Select music and arrange service elements thoughtfully, maintaining a high standard of theological and musical integrity.
Ensure all worship ministry activities reflect the church’s mission and doctrinal convictions.
Technical Oversight:
Supervise and maintain audio, video, and lighting programs, ensuring all equipment is functional and up to date.
Oversee the training and scheduling of AVL volunteers and ensure excellence in livestream, sound, and visual media.
Administrative & Pastoral Duties:
Develop and manage the worship ministry budget in partnership with ministry leaders.
Be available to assist with music planning and leadership for other church events.
Provide spiritual care to church members as needed, including hospital and home visits, especially in partnership with other pastors and staff.
Participate in broader church leadership and contribute to the overall ministry goals of the church.

A shepherd’s heart with a passion for worship, discipleship, and church unity.
Seminary training or formal education in music, theology, or a related field is preferred.
Quick thinker, adaptable, teachable, and able to work well with a wide range of personalities and generations.
Proven experience leading a worship ministry
Demonstrated ability to lead and equip volunteers across all age groups.
Competent in or can gain quick competence in ProPresenter, Planning Center, Lightkey and other media platforms.
Strong organizational, relational, and communication skills.
A collaborative, team-oriented approach to ministry and staff relationships.

Qualifications
A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a genuine call to pastoral ministry
Meets the biblical qualifications of pastor/elder (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9)
Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
Master’s degree from an accredited seminary or divinity school preferred (or equivalent ministry experience)
Licensed and ordained Baptist minister, or willing to be ordained within the Baptist fellowship
Demonstrated experience in pastoral leadership or similar ministry role
Strong preaching, teaching, and communication skills
A consistent personal walk with Christ evidenced by prayer and Scripture devotion
English fluency required; Korean proficiency helpful but not required
A heart for youth and next-generation ministry
Primary Ministry Responsibilities
