Summary

The Inventory Clerk will ensure the accurate inventory quantities and locations in the dry or freezer warehouse. This position will operate a Standup Forklift and Cherry Picker lift to accurately cycle count physical inventory against the inventory tracking system.

Key Responsibilities

Completes cycle counts and corrects inventory when needed

Communicates inventory errors to the Warehouse Supervisor

Helps management team troubleshoot inventory discrepancies

Assists with periodic physical inventory audits

Operates forklifts when necessary

Helps improve upon inventory management procedures

Cross trains and helps in receiving as needed

Additional Responsibilities

Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.

Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.

A minimum of 1 year of experience operating a standup forklift.

HS Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.

3 years of experience as an Inventory Clerk.

1 year of experience with an ERP or WMS system.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

The employee moves objects regularly up to 10 pounds, frequently up 25 pounds, occasionally up 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
