Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and analytical

Business Development Representative

to support a fast-growing, specialized marketplace business. This role focuses on inbound lead management, outbound prospecting, research, and pipeline development in partnership with senior sales leadership. It is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term path in business development.

The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, curious, and comfortable engaging with senior-level decision makers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and respond to inbound registrations and sales leads

Research prospective clients and identify new supply and business opportunities

Conduct outbound outreach via calls, emails, and social platforms

Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for senior sales executives

Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads

Track activity and pipeline accurately within CRM systems

Partner closely with Account Executives to pursue and close new opportunities

Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives (CFOs, IT leaders, etc.)

Maintain a high volume of outbound activity while staying organized and detail-oriented

Required Attributes & Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong research and analytical capabilities

Comfortable using sales and prospecting tools (Outlook, Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, etc.)

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Goal-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven

Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter with a strong work ethic and “go-getter” mindset

Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively

Continuous learner who stays current on industry trends and sales techniques

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Strong interest in building a career in sales or business development

Coachable, motivated, and eager to grow within a collaborative sales environment
