Position: Part‑time, permanent. The job is located at Michaels store in Dickinson, TX.
Responsibilities
Teach realistic acrylic painting, drawing, and/or watercolor classes.
Prepare and execute lesson plans so students finish with a finished painting or drawing.
Market classes and build a student base.
Qualifications
Ability to create realistic art with acrylics, watercolors, and drawing media.
Ability to teach those media to beginners and intermediate students.
Willingness to promote classes and grow student enrollment.
Compensation
Basic/Make A Project Classes: schedule up to one time per month – hourly rate plus $3 per student.
Advanced Classes (acrylic painting, drawing, watercolor):
Hourly rate + $7 per student for 6 students or fewer.
Hourly rate + $10 per student for 7 students or more.
Duration Each class is two hours long.
Certification All Grumbacher instructors must be certified through Grumbacher. Certification is free. Visit
