A brand new concept for the Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa! The Dining Room Attendant maintains the highest standards for guests by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional Food Runner/DRA services. Responsibilities
Complete knowledge of service times, menu, floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers. Verify complete order on ticket to food on cold line and hot line. Deliver food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers. Inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform server or manager. Set‑up the expo line with items specified in side work. Consult with supervisor on any food delivery difficulty. Minimize breakage. Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions. Set up and break down breakfast buffet according to allotted time. Maintain and replenish breakfast buffet items; ensure items are full, clean, and presentable. Secure all breakfast vehicles such as platters, butter dishes, bread knives as directed by manager. Place and receive warehouse order daily and ensure proper par levels of product. Ensure all products are within date and use FIFO storage. Exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, hazardous cleaning chemicals, food items and beverages. Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of food runner or DRA experience (preferred). Experience selling and presenting wine. Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance. Food Handler and TABC certified. Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance; stand or walk for an extended period or entire shift in indoor/outdoor environments.
