Key Responsibilities & Duties In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Employment Services Team, providing leadership, training, and continuous assessment to ensure excellence in service delivery. Responsibilities include developing and leading the Supported Employment training program in alignment with CARF standards; onboarding, coaching, and evaluating Employment Specialists and Skills Trainers; and guiding best practices across all stages of employment services, including intakes, situational assessments, job development, job coaching, follow-along services, customized employment, and Pre-ETS. The role monitors employment plans, documentation, billable hours, and electronic health record usage; leads the Employment Performance Review process; collaborates with senior leadership to ensure compliance and accuracy; and identifies program challenges and solutions. The Program Manager also builds and maintains strong relationships with funders, families, employers, and community partners; supports quality assurance through data review and surveys; provides direct service support as needed; and ensures compliance with all agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in human services, education, social work, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field, along with ACRE Certification and/or Certified Supported Employment Professional credentials. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in supported employment and Pre-Employment Transition Services, including a minimum of three years leading or supervising a team, program, or project. Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is expertise in person-first employment planning, positive behavioral supports, documentation, and regulatory compliance. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required, along with the ability to pass a SOAR365 driving test and maintain CPR/First Aid and Therapeutic Options of Virginia certifications throughout employment.
