Security Officer - Unarmed Hospital Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security‑related incidents and foster a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies in accordance with healthcare site procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and client contacts as required.
Interact with visitors, patients, and staff to provide directions, answer questions, and offer assistance as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
