We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to join our elementary school team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Qualifications
Dependable and punctual
Able to work independently
Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred but not required
Institution Description Marine Village School is a tuition-free public charter school serving Kindergarten through fifth-grade students from Marine on St. Croix and the surrounding communities of Stillwater, Scandia, Forest Lake, Hugo, and beyond.
We provide a small, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that blends engaging classroom instruction with enriching outdoor experiences in our MN DNR School Forest and through strong community partnerships.
Our commitment to maintaining small class sizes—approximately 25 students per class with no more than one class per grade—ensures personalized attention, deeper exploration of subjects, and abundant opportunities for immersive learning in nature.
Job Details
Hours: 15–20 hours per week
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Flexible — hours can be negotiated and worked during the day and/or evening
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
General cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
Restocking supplies as needed
Ensuring a safe and sanitary school environment
