A top-tier global investment firm is seeking an experienced
Benefits Specialist
to join its Total Rewards function on a
3-6 month contract . This role supports a fast-paced, high-performance environment and requires exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and prior experience within financial services, ideally at a premier hedge fund or comparable elite investment organization.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing accurate, timely, and discreet support.
Administer and support a comprehensive suite of benefits programs, including health & welfare, retirement, and ancillary plans.
Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to resolve complex benefits-related issues.
Maintain exceptional data accuracy across HRIS and benefits platforms; conduct audits and reconciliations as required.
Support open enrollment, life events, eligibility updates, and compliance activities.
Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Operate with professionalism and discretion in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of benefits administration experience within financial services (mandatory).
Prior experience at a premier hedge fund, asset manager, or top-tier financial institution is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of employee inquiries without error.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. benefits programs and vendor management.
Proven ability to thrive in a high-intensity, demanding corporate environment with minimal oversight.
