What You’ll Do As a Truck Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting product to our customers while representing our company with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company‑owned and leased semi tractor‑trailers
Review delivery schedules and assignments with your supervisor
Load and unload trailers per customer instructions
Connect and disconnect trailers, hoses, and equipment correctly
Perform daily pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections
Complete DOT logs, trip reports and required paperwork accurately
Communicate daily with the Traffic Manager regarding delivery status
Ensure on‑time deliveries while providing excellent customer service
Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws and company safety policies
Maintain clean, safe equipment and work areas
Support additional assignments as needed
What You Bring Required Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 2 years of over‑the‑road driving experience
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical
Clean and complete DOT file per company policy
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Strong attention to safety, detail and compliance
Preferred Skills & Experience
Familiarity with packing slips and loading tallies
Experience using forklifts, hand carts and other material‑handling equipment
Knowledge of proper loading techniques for industrial products
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use basic math
Comfortable with overnight travel as required
Physical & Work Environment
This role is hands‑on and active. Drivers should be comfortable with:
Standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting and climbing
Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly
Working around moving mechanical parts
Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season and location
Moderate noise levels and occasional vibration
