Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Technician supports a highly automated warehouse environment by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing material handling and automation equipment. This role includes both legacy conveyor systems and next‑generation automation, including AutoStore, as the facility transitions away from JIQ conveying systems by July 2026.
What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical warehouse equipment
Maintain conveyor systems, packaging machines, palletizers, labeling equipment, and vision systems
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime and equipment reliability
Troubleshoot PLC‑related faults, sensors, drives, and controls
Support AutoStore system operations, including robots, grid infrastructure, ports, and interfaces (training provided)
Document maintenance activities using a CMMS system
Respond to equipment breakdowns in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience working with conveyor and material handling systems
Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics
Exposure to automation, AS/RS, or AutoStore systems is a plus
Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. 2 year technical degree in Electronics, Mechanics or equivalent work experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields
Experience supporting automated or robotic warehouse systems
CMMS experience for work order and preventive maintenance tracking
Physical & Work Environment
Frequent standing, walking, and mobility
Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs
Exposure to moving machinery, automation equipment, noise, dust, and variable temperatures

The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is hourly $26.1545 - $32.0022. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
Compensation $26-$26
