Research Assistant
The Research Assistant will participate in clinical trials research work within the parameters of study protocols and Federal Regulations. Recruits research subjects, accumulates, records and stores data, works closely with principal investigator and clinical research staff to ensure protocol guidelines are followed. Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary research team.

Assists in the collection of data obtained from research subjects.
Explains the study to the participants; assists in obtaining consent to be enrolled in protocol.
Administers assigned aspects of the various study components.
Assists in the preparation of IRB forms, reports, modifications and continuing reviews.
Maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, patients, and families.

What you will need Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related scientific field.
General understanding of scientific principles. Demonstrated performance to use knowledge and skills when needed.
Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge of science principals to problem solve work.
General computer skills and ability to quickly learn computer programs, databases, and scientific applications.
Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to accurately complete detailed work.
Desired Qualifications
Technical writing experience in SOP's, protocols, and reports.
Possess initiative, ability to multi‑task and a desire to acquire new technical skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and collaborators.
Utilization of good documentation practices.
