We are presently identifying candidates for a Management and Program Analyst position that will provide services to the FBIs Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) unit./ppThe mission of the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) unit is to collaborate with the Department of Justice Office of International Affairs (DOJ-OIA) to standardize and centralize MLAT protocols and requirements, to be the central repository for all incoming MLAT requests to the FBI, and to facilitate and monitor the progress of all incoming MLAT requests requiring FBI assistance. The MLAT Unit provides training and guidance on MLAT-related matters to LEGATs, FBI field offices, and foreign law enforcement partners. MLAT Unit supports the FBIs interests abroad by ensuring the FBI fulfills its duty to support the U.S.s reciprocal obligation to foreign countries in the collection, filtering, and production of evidence located in the U.S, including electronic evidence from U.S.-based Internet Service Providers (ISPs)./ph3Duties and Responsibilities/h3pReceive and manage traditional mail and e-mail from the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of International Affairs (OIA) and United States Attorney Offices (AUSAs) throughout the U.S., ISPs, and FBI Field Offices; this correspondence contains legal documents, electronic production returns from ISPs, and FBI documents from the field offices./ppCollaborate with FBI employees and DOJ-OIA employees, daily./ppReview foreign and domestic legal documents to identify tasking for the FBI./ppPerform analysis and de-confliction utilizing multiple FBI internal databases and systems./ppPrioritize and manage multiple tasks and cases./ppDevelop knowledge of FBI field offices to determine the most appropriate field office(s) for setting leads to assist./ppAuthor documents for the field to include case background and specific country requirements./ppMaintain awareness of, and periodically update, the Units tracking tools (Access Database)./ppUtilize technology and software tools to review the electronic production returns received from the ISPs and filter out non-relevant content and/or information./ppMight be required to review obscene material as part of criminal, child exploitation, and counterterrorism investigations./ppLearn and utilize software/hardware to produce discs that will be delivered to DOJ-OIA for dissemination to our international partners for evidence entered into court proceedings./ppAuthor documents detailing work performed that will be used in court proceedings worldwide./ppEstablish and utilize a network of internal and external resources to perform analysis and complete assigned work on a daily basis./ppUtilize SharePoint to enter and maintain data./ppUtilize Outlook to communicate with internal and external customers./ppProvide exceptional customer service./ph3Minimum Qualifications/h3pTop Secret (SSBI) Security Clearance (Top Secret clearance must be existing at time of application/submission)/ppUS Citizen/ppBachelors Degree/ppExcellent organizing, planning, and coordinating skills./ppExcellent attention to detail./ppAbility to read legal documents and understand U.S. legal standards./ppAbility to perform research and detailed analysis./ppAbility to generate graphics/products for internal and external dissemination to partners./ppStrong writing skills that will be used to provide final reports to DOJ-OIA and international partners./ppStrong working knowledge of IT/computers./ppOutstanding interpersonal and liaison skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented and independent environment./ppStrong ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing./ppMust work well in a high-stress environment./ppAble to follow the FBIs policies and procedures for business attire and grooming standards./ph3Preferred Qualifications/h3pTechnical and Legal experience preferred./ppMinimum 2 years experience in a government setting preferred./pp2 years experience in a related field./ppMilitary experience./ppInvestigative experience or relevant work experience./ph3About ATSG/h3pATSG Corporation is a Veterans Affairs (VA) CVE-Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based in Fairfax, VA with branch offices throughout Central America.
