Environmental Technician / Geologist

Job Description: This job would entail performing the following tasks: Performing visual inspections and maintenance as needed of landfill for compliance with applicable permit conditions Operation, Maintenance, and Monitoring of pump and treat and other types of remediation and leachate conveyance systems Mowing and maintenance of landfill cap and drainage areas Multimedia sampling that includes proficiency in groundwater, soil, surface water, sediments, and air sampling. Remediation construction and drilling oversight on project sites. Waste management and tracking Work with data management and project management teams to ensure data is managed properly Qualifications B.S. or M.S. Degree or specialized training is preferred in a technical field (such as Environmental Science, Biology, or geology) but community college or other accredited trainings may be substituted.
