Job Description

Job Summary: Oversees kitchen personnel. Ensures that the stock and the facility remain sanitary. Responds to customer needs. Cashiers, and maintains quality of food. Applies substantial knowledge and experience to perform a wide range of advanced activities and/or determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals; serves as working supervisor for team or work group. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Five years' relevant experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: SERV Safe certification or equivalent: Preferred in CA and HI Facility Specific License/Certifications: SERVSAFE OR CFH OR FH-BFSC OR FH-efoodcard: Required Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required Essential Functions: Assists in cafeteria duties including, but not limited to cashiering and stocking vending machines. Completes routine inspection and properly documents log entries and generates appropriate corrective action as needed. Oversees personnel and responsibilities. Assists in the evaluation of the work performance of employees. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
