About New Horizons Food Solutions
Coalescence NHB LLC, now New Horizons Food Solutions LLC, has been serving the Food, Beverage, Health Care, and Personal Care Industries since 2005. We deliver a "one-stop" innovative ingredient solutions for some of the most iconic brands. We develop a wide variety of customized culinary products, seasonings, flavors, and coatings for savory and sweet applications. In addition, we manufacture functional blends which improve product quality, and nutritional fortifications that combat malnutrition because of micronutrient deficiencies. 5 days a week - 8-hour shifts (with limited overtime options) Shift

To set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality on this equipment. Follows company product safety, legality and quality systems. Essential Responsibilities And Duties
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality. Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenance. Tests equipment to check operation. Clears jams and sets aside product for inspection and rework. Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime. Examines, tests, and measures product from assigned equipment for quality specifications, using gauges and instruments, and records data on appropriate forms. Checks product for visual defects. Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action. Examines defects and analyzes spoilage causes and, where possible, takes corrective action. Directs line operators and packers and service personnel, such as lift truck operators, in details of daily maintenance support schedule, standard operating procedures, and requirements. Notifies corporate engineer or operations manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed. Instructs and directs any maintenance trainees assigned. Must complete and be competent in all required FSQA, Safety and Job training. Must observe and understand all company rules, follow all safety programs, wear proper Personal Equipment (PPE) during the performance of job duties, and work in a safe manner at all times. Reports and takes necessary action to prevent food safety, legality and quality problems from occurring. Follows and enforces programs and procedures outlined in the Food Safety and Quality Manual to support compliance with the GFSI Global Standard for Food Safety and other third party audits.
