Job Description Pennsylvania Steel is a leading distributor of steel and aluminum, a privately held and veteran‑owned business established in 1972. The Throop, PA branch is seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker for 3rd shift duties. This is a full‑time, permanent position with opportunities for career growth within a well‑established company.
Position Responsibilities
Receiving and processing incoming stock
Preparing and completing customer orders, including pulling and/or cutting stock material
Loading delivery trucks for customer delivery
Keeping a clean and safe working environment
Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers
Operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment
Following the company’s quality system
Complying with all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
Key Performance Indicators
Customer complaints
Production errors
Non‑conformity reports
Safety/Regulatory issues
Equipment issues
Required Experience
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8‑10 hours daily
Must be able to read measuring equipment (tape measure, caliper, micrometer)
Must have acceptable mathematical skills
Willingness to be trained and operate industrial equipment (saws, cranes, forklifts, tractor trailers)
Willingness to work overtime when required
Previous warehouse experience (receiving, loading/unloading, packing, labeling, picking) is a plus
