Job Brief This position is primarily responsible for assembly and packaging of Electronic Detonators. Complete inspection steps as required for materials used in Assembly of Electronic Detonators.

Location: Simsbury, CT

What You’ll Do As the Lean Cell / Manufacturing Operator, you will be primarily responsible for assembly and packaging of Electronic Detonators. You will align with Business Excellence to help reduce waste and improve quality, productivity and safety performance within the assigned department.

Soldering of wires to electronic harnesses

Complete manufacture of Electronic assemblies

Verifying product counts, package in accordance with product specifications

Complete inspection steps as required for materials used in Assembly of Electronic Detonators

Perform tooling changes, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance of all equipment

Maintain neat, clean and orderly work area; provide accurate and legible traceability to all raw materials

Tape full completed boxes of product, assemble in trays and strap if required

May be required to perform temporary, unusual or miscellaneous work as directed by dept. leader

Verify product counts and reconcile any discrepancies using SAP

Communicate with stakeholders including MQEs and Maintenance to assist with any mechanical issues

What We’re Looking For

Must be able to be sedentary for majority of the work day

Must be able to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift and rotating weekends

Able to work overtime as needed

Ability to read and write English, perform basic math and to learn SAP functions

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives

Ability to obtain a certification for soldering (in house training and certification process is provided)
