Maintenance Technician - Grove City, OH
Burlington Capital Properties is currently reviewing applications for a Maintenance Technician position in Grove City, Ohio. We pride ourselves in the quality living experience we provide to our residents, and therefore consider individuals with demonstrated abilities in maintenance, repairs, and customer service.
This full-time position requires availability Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an on‑call rotation for evenings and weekends (on‑call schedule to be discussed during interviews).
Essential Job Functions
Perform maintenance and repair work as directed.
Perform standard apartment maintenance, which may include painting, cleaning carpets, and appliance repair.
Troubleshoot, perform, and/or assist in maintenance and repairs related to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, roofs, carpentry, etc.
Assist in other duties as requested by management.
Control expenses to meet budgeted guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Participate in all resident promotions and/or functions as required by the property manager.
Follow all safety and liability guidelines as outlined.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess adequate working knowledge of a property’s significant maintenance needs such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
HVAC certification preferred, but not required.
Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
Post‑offer drug testing, civil, criminal, and motor‑vehicle background screening is required. EOE.
Our policies prohibit exposed tattoos, piercings or face jewelry other than the ears, and unnatural/distracting hair colors (such as blue, green, pink, etc.). Exceptions to this policy must be requested in writing.
