Shifts:
We require that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and some holidays.
Schedule assignment upon hire is determined by plant needs. Once your training period begins, you will be assigned to a shift and/or schedule based on current plant need. You will be eligible to bid on other schedules, shifts and jobs.
Openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift.
Regular schedule is 8-hours. Mandatory overtime could be weekly, daily (additional 4 hours on your 8-hour shift) and weekends (8 to 12-hour shifts).

Job Description:
The Hershey Company Memphis plant is a Non-Union plant producing products such as Ice Breakers, Breath Savers, and Good & Plenty, in a high-speed complex environment. This position is responsible for all sanitation aspects of the plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to operate a forklift, man lift, and genie boom lift
Must maintain the cleaning, inspection, and general maintenance checks on all scrubbers
Must be able to learn the infrastructure-related cleaning procedures throughout the facility.
Must be able to apply detail cleaning procedures throughout the plant
Must be able to learn and adhere to the Facility's Waste Management Program
Must be able to learn and adhere to the facility's GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HAZCOMM (Chemical Safety) requirements
Must have the ability to work as a team player and have strong communication skills
Must ensure your area meets the housekeeping standards throughout your shift
Must be flexible to do any job that is assigned and participate in departmental meetings as required
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must possess a high school diploma/GED
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
Must be flexible to work any shift during a 24-hour period (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and any variation of shift length (8 hours or 12 hours)
Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must have the ability to understand and perform basic mathematics
Must possess basic computer knowledge with ability to find and enter information
Must be able to regularly stand and walk; and occasionally sit, bend at waist, turn, climb ladders and work from heights up to 30ft
