This position offers an entry‑level salary based on experience. The actual compensation will depend on location, skills and other factors.

Base pay range $15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

Responsibilities

Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, flexible, and efficient checkout service.

Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.

Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., proactive help, need identification, service until satisfied).

Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend items for sale and trade‑ups.

Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges; collect cash and distribute change.

Maintain clean counters and shelves, keep inventory records, check in and price merchandise as directed by the store manager or shift leader.

Implement company asset‑protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.

Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco).

Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.

Assist with separation of food items and product placement per policy; use first‑in, first‑out for consumable items.

Provide customer service in the photo area, support digital passport photo services, poster printing, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.

Handle web pick‑up responsibilities, monitor orders, fill items, and deliver orders to customers.

Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store appearance.

Comply with all company policies, maintain respectful relationships with coworkers, and complete special assignments and tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

Basic Qualifications

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

Prefer ability to speak fluent English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
