Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for pre-labeling bags, feeding them into the bagger, and ensuring the filled bags are properly sealed and weighed to meet standards. You will also operate panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, or work in packaging. Your role will include mixing, batching, panning, and packing, with a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
Pre-label and feed bags into the bagger system.
Understand and operate the bagger system software, performing light maintenance as needed.
Ensure filled bags are properly sealed and meet weight standards.
Operate panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, or work in packaging.
Mix, batch, pan, and pack products.
Lift and handle boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
Verify correct labeling on packaged boxes and ensure placement is accurate.
Measure and weigh product into pre-made boxes with liners.
Mix ingredients by measuring and pouring them into blenders or conches, following precise instructions and signing off on paperwork.
Operate machinery and use a pallet jack.
Conduct metal detection processes.
Essential Skills
Experience in packaging, labeling, lifting, stacking, and mixing.
Ability to operate machinery and perform maintenance tasks.
Proficiency in following precise instructions and completing paperwork.
Experience with pallet jacks and metal detection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferably at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, with food manufacturing experience being an advantage.
Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operation, or blending.
Demonstrated drive and ambition to advance within the company.

Adhere to dress code requirements including hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The climate-controlled facility can get dusty and reach temperatures up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr.
