Key Responsibilities Under direct supervision, the Tortilleria Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. The position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates tortilla displays, and helps make a variety of tortillas and masa for the department. You will operate in a fast‑paced grocery store environment, lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and performing visual and auditory tasks.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Additional Desired Skills
Basic PC / Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
Required Certification Food Handler Card (or equivalent certification) is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
