Valet – Brunswick VDC

Hourly Rate on W2:
$20.53
Shift:
1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Facility works a 4x10 schedule. Workdays are either Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri, depending on vessel schedule. Schedule is communicated at least one week in advance. Weekend work possible based on volume.)
Contract:
12‑month contract with possible conversion to direct (depending on performance and attendance).
Interview Type:
Onsite interviews required; site view available.
Benefits:
Employee‑paid medical benefits available on the first of the month after the first day of work. PTO and holiday pay provided.
Required Certifications:
TWIC card. Driving experience required.
Responsibilities
Drive the flow of vehicles through the VDC processes
Operate car wash
Operate fuel pumps
First Point of Rest – FPOR – inspect battery voltage
Assist in basic facility maintenance as needed
Cross‑train to increase skill levels in VDC IT systems as necessary
Operate vehicles in a controlled yard environment
Operate manual transmission vehicle
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Basic automotive knowledge; valid driver’s license for any US state.
Physical requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing, reading, writing, and tolerance of temperature variations and high noise.
