Overview My client, a global chemical manufacturing company in the Atlanta area is seeking a Raw Materials Buyer to join their dynamic team.

Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Raw Material Buyer to manage the procurement of raw materials for our production and tolling operations. The ideal candidate will ensure materials are available to meet production schedules, maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate with suppliers, and manage purchase orders and delivery schedules in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
Review raw material requirements and coordinate production schedules.
Enter and manage purchase orders, batch sheets, and goods receipts in SAP.
Reconcile tolling inventory monthly and monitor warehouse receipts.
Communicate with suppliers and production planning to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Expedite late shipments and resolve issues with missing or delayed goods.
Track and confirm supplier orders and update system records accordingly.
Qualifications
High School Diploma; basic math skills required.
Proficiency in Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor and internal collaboration.
