The primary responsibilities for this role will include:

Lead, direct, and mentor self‑performing trade crews on heavy civil concrete, mechanical, and structural scopes. Plan daily and weekly work activities, including manpower, materials, equipment needs, and sequencing. Conduct daily pre‑task plans (PTPs), safety tailgate meetings, and toolbox talks. Ensure crew members understand task expectations, goals, and quality standards. Perform and oversee layout, form building, setting, shoring, bracing, and stripping for large structural concrete elements such as walls, slabs, columns, tanks, channels, headworks, and vaults. Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to guide field installations. Work collaboratively with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and other trade foremen to ensure smooth workflow. Track daily quantities, labor hours, productivity targets, and material usage. Communicate schedule impacts, material needs, and production concerns promptly. Promote a strong safety culture aligned with company policies and OSHA requirements. Stop unsafe work and coach crew members in safe practices. Inspect work to ensure compliance with project specifications, tolerances, and finish requirements. Maintain housekeeping and site organization to reduce hazards and increase efficiency. Manage carpentry tools, formwork systems, and small equipment. Coordinate deliveries, staging areas, and material handling with site logistics. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment. Qualifications Required

5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction. 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience (Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or equivalent). Strong understanding of concrete forming systems, layout, and mechanical scopes. Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, and technical documents. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality. Strong communication and leadership skills. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license. If requested, the applicant shall furnish a written statement from a medical doctor that he/she has had a physical examination in connection with the application, and is physically fit to perform the work. Required to communicate information, ideas, directions with the capability to perform the task or project discussed. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with utmost regard for safety. Pre‑employment drug screening and background checks required. Preferred

Experience on water/wastewater treatment plants, dams, or fish‑passage structures. Proficiency with gang forms, large wall forms, and complex formwork systems. Current OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
