Supply Technician (Project Management) About PKL Services Inc. About the Role PKL Services Inc. will provide F-18 organizational level (O Level) maintenance in support of Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX-9). Work will primarily be performed at VX-9, Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS), China Lake, California 93555.

As the PKL Services Inc. Supply Technician, you will perform limited aspects of technical supply management work, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization.

Other Responsibilities Include

Must possess the ability to work independently, without technical guidance, to perform all Supply technician functions.

Ensure parts inventory are accurately accounted for and available to maintain F-18 aircraft at this location.

Ability to provide the local expertise necessary to resolve system and functional related problems and ensure smooth operations related to NALCOMIS/R Supply databases.

Shall perform limited aspects of technical supply management work, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization.

Shall have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.

Coordinate daily supply functions related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Ensure all work is strictly in compliance with local published Instructions/Manuals and Federal, State, and Local OSHA regulations.

Perform all other contractual requirements per Performance Work Statement of contract No: FA8108-17-D-0001, Task Order No: FA8108-21-F-0013 (O Level Maintenance Support Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific at VX-9).

Any and all other duties as directed by Aircraft Site Manager.

About You We love to hear from you if you have:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

A minimum of three (3) years of extensive experience in aircraft maintenance processes and aircraft material support as they relate to supply functions.

Must be able to attain and retain a US Government SECRET security clearance if billet requires it.

At a minimum, all employees must maintain SECRET clearance eligibility during employment.

Knowledge of Navy correspondence and records management procedures and Navy squadron organizational structure/relationships.

Working knowledge of the CNAFINST 4790.2 series, applicable Naval Aviation Maintenance Programs Standard Operating Procedures (NAMPSOPs) and local NAMPSOP instructions.

Shall possess a thorough understanding or become familiar and proficient with NALCOMIS OOMA automated maintenance documentation system.

Individuals released from military service with other than Honorable Discharges do not meet minimum qualifications.

All Contractors are required to have a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC), Flight Line Badge and shall be required to pass the equivalent of a trustworthy National Agency Check plus, Written Inquiries with Credit Check (NACI).

Must have and maintain a valid State Drivers License if the use of a government vehicle is required with billet.

Travel

25% TDY travel may be required on occasion.

$42.38 per hour.

This is a full-time/ non-exempt/ union position.

Additional compensation for selected certifications.

Eleven (11) paid holidays per year.

Employees will accrue PTO at a bi-weekly accrual rate of 4.85 hours per pay period (126 hours annual).

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Will traverse into high noise workshop areas or near active jet aircraft operating ramps.

Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key).

This position requires normal physical functions. Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing.

May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers.

May be exposed at times to moderate discomforts such as heat, cold, rain, wind.
