You will be responsible for safely dismantling vehicles, recovering usable parts, and ensuring all inventory meets quality and accuracy standards while following established safety and environmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities
The safe and efficient dismantling of vehicles
Verifies Dismantling report, vehicle stock number, and VIN# match the vehicle to be dismantled
Drain all required fluids
Verifies the quality description provided by the inventory personnel
If any discrepancies exist between the actual condition of the part and those listed in the dismantling report, they need to be corrected
Ensures that any parts not accurately described that the condition are updated or deleted
Ensures that all parts are placed in the designated warehouse & core locations or removed and left in vehicle in designated area per dismantling report
Ensures that inventory part tags and quality tags are placed correctly on each part with dismantlers initials on the back of the tag and the vehicle stock number written on each part
Before removing the vehicle from the dismantling bay, all loose/hanging parts MUST be removed or fastened so nothing gets dropped in the yard
When setting the vehicle in the yard be safe and aware of your surroundings and drive slowly
Vehicles need to be set in the designated location given by the inventory manager and as stated in the Setting Vehicles Policy
Dismantlers need to be a TEAM player and help others when needed
For safety and cleanliness purposes all bolts and misc. pieces must be thrown back into the vehicles for scrap
Return paperwork to inventory
Participate in a quality audit of performance once per quarter
