Job Summary
The Apparel Trimmer Packer is responsible for trimming excess Pellon and loose threads from apparel and headwear after they are embroidered. This position is also responsible for steaming and folding garments to be placed in bags. This position is also responsible for maintaining quality and production company standards.
Schedule 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7am – noon) as required.
Compensation $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Supervisory responsibilities None
Duties / Responsibilities
Trim excess Pellon and threads off apparel and headwear.
Steam and remove Solvy off apparel and headwear.
Perform quality inspection to apparel and headwear.
Fold & bag garments for packing.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
Ability to follow verbal directions.
Ability to read instructions in English.
Ability to perform basic math.
Understand quality requirements.
Ability to solve problems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Manufacturing experience.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms to handle, push/pull, touch, pinch, or grasp.
Ability to walk about the facility.
Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
Exposure to moderate noise level.

Closed toe footwear is required when entering the Production Floor.
