Elementary School Math Teacher - Veritas Academy
Veritas Academy, a classical Christian school located northwest of Columbus, is seeking a dynamic Elementary School Math teacher starting in the 26-27 school year. Math 3, 4, and 5/6 classes will be held 2 days per week (Monday, Wednesday). We currently use the Saxon Math curriculum for our elementary and middle school math classes. This is a unique opportunity to partner with homeschool parents by utilizing one's expertise and faith to instill in students a love of learning about God’s creation, to strengthen critical and creative thinking skills as images of God, and to develop the God-given strengths of each student. At Veritas Academy, students and teachers enjoy small class sizes, engaged parents, and a university classroom schedule with a maximum of three, onsite instructional days per week. QUALIFICATIONS: Personal commitment and pattern of following Christ Diligent Bible student in harmony with Veritas Academy Mission and Statement of Faith Undergraduate degree and demonstrated expertise/experience in related field Skilled communicator capable of organized teaching and classroom management Appreciation, understanding, and experience in classical Christian education is highly desirable
