The Camphill School is seeking full-time Special Education Paraprofessionals to join our team. The Camphill School is a residential and day school for students ages 5-18 with moderate to severe intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Come and join our dedicated staff caring for one of our 90 students on our rural school campus in Chester County. The Camphill School has a unique educational program providing an adaptive Waldorf curriculum. Traditional academic subjects are balanced with a strong art and music program and a practical hands‑on approach.
The Special Education Paraprofessional is a support staff position that assists students in the classroom with daily living skills, and educational, recreational, and cultural activities. We are looking for dynamic individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of others and are respectful and supportive of students with special needs in the context of our educational program. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors rain or shine, being creative, and is culturally responsive.
The mission of The Camphill School is to create wholeness for children and youth with developmental disabilities through education, extended family living, and therapy so that they may be better understood, they may more fully unfold their potential, and they may meaningfully participate in life. Job Type Full‑time, Monday through Friday 8:15 AM-4:15 PM
Salary Range Starting at $19/hr depending upon education and experience
