Job Summary

Netcare Lakeview Hospitals Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide essential IT assistance and support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our critical healthcare systems and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

\* Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to Netcare staff, both in-person and remotely.

\* Diagnose and resolve technical problems with computers, printers, mobile devices, and various clinical and administrative applications.

\* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.

\* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within various systems.

\* Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.

\* Document technical issues, resolutions, and common problems in the knowledge base.

\* Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff or relevant third-party vendors.

\* Assist with the deployment and setup of new IT equipment and systems.

\* Conduct routine system checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

\* Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices and system usage.

\* Adhere to all IT security policies and procedures to protect patient data and hospital systems.

Job Qualifications

Education: A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation) are a strong advantage.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably within a healthcare environment.Technical Skills:

\* Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11) and Microsoft Office Suite.

\* Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network troubleshooting.

\* Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.

\* Basic understanding of Active Directory user and group management.

\* Knowledge of mobile device support (iOS, Android).
