Shift
Nights - B shift, rotating 12 hour nights 6p-6:30am
Pay $38.18/hr, pay bump at 3 month mark, pay bump at 12 month mark, plus $1/hr shift differential on nights
Responsibilities
Maintain all injection molds on-site and implement a preventive maintenance plan to ensure tools are managed at a superior level
Prioritize breakdowns, rectify problems, and minimize downtime, work to improve tool availability
During project phase, participate in mold strip downs in collaboration with plant engineer, engineering center, and tool makers
Support new project trials and offsite activities, preparing tools for plant industrialization, participate in trials and propose improvements
Document all work, repairs or modifications carried out on the tools on site
Maintain KPIs and/or main deliverables (safety, PPMs, injection right first time/%RFT, injection scrap, and injection overall equipment effectiveness/OEE)
Undertake all tasks within the agreed shift pattern and cover call out as per schedule
Support all production areas as required
Technical Requirements
3+ years’ experience in tool maintenance of mechanical pieces, with use of lathes, grinders, milling machines, and drills
Minimum High School Diploma preferred technical training specialized in toolmaking, tool maintenance or equivalent
Ability to TIG/MIG weld to a high standard
Ability to polish, smooth, finish, refine, and deburr tooling cavities and surfaces to remove imperfections and burrs to a high standard
Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems and electrical systems on mold tools and auxiliary equipment
Preventive/predictive maintenance on injection molds, presses, and auxiliary equipment
Dedication to safety
Authorization and Eligibility Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States for any employer, regardless of sponsorship
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check to be eligible for hire
