Job Description
Must be able to work with a computerized Micros System for order entry, pre-check functions, etc. Is familiar with all pre-check and cashiering procedures; presents check to guest and collects payment. Observes diners to respond to additional requests and to determine when meal is completed.
Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount
Adhere to established company and departmental procedures, guidelines and policies at all times
Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times
Must be able to work with a computerized Micros System for order entry, pre-check functions, etc.
Serves all guests according to established standards of quality
Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion
Is familiar with all pre-check and cashiering procedures; presents check to guest and collects payment
Adheres to state liquor laws
Relays guest complaints/compliments to appropriate supervisor
Observes diners to respond to additional requests and to determine when meal is completed
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
Knowledge of safety/guest liability procedures for guests and employees
Performs all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions; maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, and guests
Must be able to lift and carry small and large trays weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours. Able to sit, walk, stand, bend lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp
High school diploma or GED is preferred
Must have 18 years of age with a minimum of six months experience as a food server in high volume and/or fine dining environment is required
Prior wine knowledge is preferred but no required
The ability to work in a fast paced environment
The ability to effectively communicate in English
The ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management and handle all types of guest related situations
Must be able to obtain an ABC liquor permit
Responsible for keeping all licenses and permits current
