Job Title LS SUE Technician 1 – San Diego, CA
Job Overview This position will support the field operations of our SUE projects, including locating underground utilities, assisting with traffic control during potholing, and other related tasks.
Responsibilities
Part of the underground utility locating team.
Assist with traffic control during potholing.
Undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
Team player.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
0 to 2 years of professional experience desired; may accept higher experience with a lower degree.
2 to 3 years of utility delineating or line tracing.
Minimum of 2 years managing client relationships.
Technical Requirements
No specific technical requirement; familiarity with construction tools and basic computer knowledge preferred.
Other Requirements
Ability to travel 90–100 % of the time within California, or 30–50 % out of state.
Physically fit to carry up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Compensation $20.00 – $24.00 hourly. Final compensation is based on qualifications and experience.
